Auberry

On June 12, 1884, an Auberry post office was established near what is generally identified as Marshall Station. In 1888 it moved a mile and a half south, near the edge of Table Mountain. In 1906 it was moved again, this time eight miles north to New Auberry. The upper end of Auberry Valley had a post office from 1888 to 1899 near the junction on Auberry and Big Sandy roads. In 1902 it was re-established, in 1903 moved three miles north to Old Auberry, and discontinued in 1904.
