When Worlds Collide

Faith and Values in Pagan America

Pagan America is standing at a crossroads. We, as a community, are splintered - bickering among ourselves when we should be focusing on unity... laying blame where we should be building solutions.
     What, exactly, are we accomplishing?
What sort of image are we trying to present?

This may strike many as elitist, prejudiced, or just plain rude, but the only image we've managed to put across is the exact one we neither want nor need.
     Shall I say it again?

The pagan community will never progress to its rightful position in America until we can stand together.

Did she just say that?
Stand together?
But...
But...

This reaction is all too familiar...

How can this nutcase Asatru woman (that would be the writer, for those following along at home) expect this pipe-dream pagan community of hers to stand for anything?
After all... we have nothing in common...

Ladies and gentlemen, it is time to wake up.

It's time to get off our collective asses and show the American government, the Christian Coalition, and everyone else who wants us kept in the shadows that we are NO LONGER LIVING BY THEIR RULES.

Unlike a whole lot of other people, I am sick of living in a world where blame (and forgiveness, for that matter) always lie in the anywhere-but-here.

This site contains (or will contain) a series of articles, essays, and rants, written by myself (and hopefully others, as time goes on) regarding the American Pagan.

No one will like everything here...
no one will agree with every opinion expressed here...
But it is my hope that everything that will reside among these pages will be, at the very least, considered by all sides.

For if we refuse to listen to eachother, why should anyone bothering listening to us?

Before you get to the meat of this site, scroll back up and check out the incredible image on the left side of the screen. She is in a "Luminous Wind" - thus is the title of the painting by Jonathon Bowser. My thanks to this extraordinary artist for his generosity. This banner is found on every page where his beautiful work appears.
